New Movies

FLIGHT RISK

"Flight Risk" is an action thriller directed by Mel Gibson, starring Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Dockery, and Topher Grace. The film follows a pilot (Wahlberg) tasked with transporting a U.S. Marshal (Dockery) and a fugitive (Grace) to trial. As they traverse the Alaskan wilderness, tensions rise when it's revealed that not everyone is who they seem. Wahlberg notably shaved his head for the role, opting for authenticity over a bald cap.

Filming was completed in just 22 days, showcasing Gibson's efficient direction.

MUFASA

"Mufasa: The Lion King" is a live-action prequel that explores the origin story of Mufasa, the iconic king of the Pride Lands. Narrated by Rafiki to young Kiara, Simba and Nala's daughter, the film delves into Mufasa's journey from an orphaned cub to a revered leader. Alongside Taka, who later becomes Scar, Mufasa embarks on an expansive adventure with a group of misfits, facing challenges that test their bonds and destinies.

Directed by Barry Jenkins, the movie combines nostalgic elements with new storytelling, featuring characters like Timon, Pumbaa, Sarabi, Zazu, and Rafiki.

Notably, it topped the domestic box office over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, earning $15.5 million.

 

THE WOLFMAN

"Wolf Man" (2025) is a horror film directed by Leigh Whannell, starring Christopher Abbott as Blake Lovell, Julia Garner as his wife Charlotte, and Matilda Firth as their daughter Ginger. The story follows Blake, who, after his estranged father's mysterious death, brings his family to his childhood home in rural Oregon. There, they are attacked by a creature that bites Blake, leading to his gradual transformation into a werewolf. As Blake's condition worsens, Charlotte must protect their family from both the external threat of the creature and the internal danger posed by Blake's monstrous change.

The film explores themes of family, transformation, and the struggle against one's inner demons.

 

A COMPLETE UNKNOWN

A Complete Unknown” is a biographical drama about the life and transformation of Bob Dylan, exploring his journey from a young folk singer to a global icon of music and cultural revolution. Directed by James Mangold, the film delves into Dylan's rise to fame, his relationships, and his reinvention as an artist during a defining period of his career.
